Dead & Co. Fan Sues Live Nation, MSG After Concert Ends In His Arrest

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) – A Dead & Co. fan is suing Live Nation and Madison Square Garden after he was arrested at one of the band’s concert late last year.

According to The Blast, the fan, David Roberti, claims that he had a ticket to the concert, which took place on November 12, 2017, however, he arrived late and entered through a side door because “it was wide open and because there was no security personnel.”

Roberti has also stated that he did in fact make it to his seat, but that after the first set ended, he was approached and escorted to the security department. Despite allegedly showing security personnel his ticket, Roberti was arrested and taken to a precinct to be booked for trespassing charges.

Those charges were ultimately dismissed.

Also named in the suite are MSG employee Naomi Stackpole and NYPD officer Joel Mottola.

Roberti is suing for false arrest and defamation of character. He is seeking $1 million in damages and an additional $3 million in punitive damages from the defendants.
